The golden globes, there was a great moment in your speech at the Golden Globes that people loved. Let's play this show.

So they tried to play you off. That was instinct.

Yes. That's the very feisty instinct that sometimes gets a little out of control.

That was my first time being on that stage. First time nominated for a Golden Globe. First time winning.

Yes, but she had to hide her identity. She was of half-Asian descent. Her mother was from India I believe.

But she always came out acting purely as a British woman. So she had to hide it.

And during the Sag Awards when we won for the ensemble, we asked James, please represent us and speak for us.

And sometimes I feel like, I don't know whether ping-pong or yo-yo because you fluctuate between feeling very shocked and very overwhelmed with joy but thinking, how can I be the first?

Because I know of so many amazing actresses and actors where, you know, we have stood on their shoulders.

So I would love to see that would be such a thing of the past where this is the norm that you see faces like ours that they are being nominated.

One of the upcoming roles that I am looking forward to is you are currently filming "Wicked," a movie adaptation of the Broadway musical which reunites you with the "Crazy Rich Asians" director Jon M Chu.
